Logistics Manager
Responsibilities
- Identification & onboarding new Logistics service providers.
- RFQ/Tendering, negotiation process through system for contract finalization.
- Designing and managing Agreements with ‘Logistics Service Providers (LSP)’.
- Co-ordination with Interal & external stakeholders for various Logistics activities & to ensure better solutions to end customer.
- Tracking and safety of en-route consignments.
- Coordination with IT/Warehouse teams for system & process developments.
- Cost saving & new project initiatives.
- Periodic review of LSPs.
- Experience in Part Truck Load (Courier operation).
- Understanding about Green Logistics – Railway, Electric / CNG vehicles etc.
Requirements
- Understanding of Logistics business activities and ensure operational compliance.
- Knowledge on ERP system – SAP / Oracle.
- Knowledge of Transportation, Logistics, Warehousing & proper understanding of Supply Chain Management.
- Vendor management & KPI performance evaluation.
- Basic understanding of telematics projects, API, and other IT services.
- Knowledge on Logistics Costing – ZBC
- Vendor Management & dealing with external agencies.
